Philadelphia Players Heading to ComedySportz 25th Anniversary Tournament

This summer marks the 25th anniversary of the founding of ComedySportz in Milwaukee. There are currently 21 cities in the World Comedy League heading to Milwaukee to compete in the WCL Championships. Philadelphia is sending 7 players: Sean Curran, Kristin Finger, Dave Jadico, Jessie Preisendorfer, Alli Soowal, Jason Stockdale, and John Zak to compete for the world championship July 9-11. Meet the Playerz – July edition. The Rookies!

Our new batch of rookies have been undergoing rigorous training under the instruction of Coach Jason Stockdale. While they won’t be making their debuts until September, we decided it was time to introduce them to the world! They are (moving clockwise):

Olwyn Conway – She’s a Taurus who enjoys long walks on the beach and recycling.  She plays singing point guard.

Aime Kelly – She’s a Pices with a love of dance and will be our storytelling center.

Casey Thomasson – a Gemini who isn’t afraid to cry.  He’s a place kicker with a knack for groaners.

Andy Moskowitz – He’s a Sagittarius who may show you his secret diary if you ask nice enough.  A quick goalie with sticky hands.

Joe Sabatino – He’s an Aquarius who enjoys feeding the birds at the park.  He tends to blitz, so watch out!

Noah Herman – an Aries who will never turn down a fine wine.  He plays striker.
