Singer, dancer, actor, Phanstormer, rookie coach extraordinaire, aproducer of the Philadelphia Improv Festival, and one of the funniest guys in the Philly improv scene.  All these describe just one person: our ComedySportz Philadelphia October Player of the Month— Jason Stockdale!

1. Your name and nickname: Jason “Live” or “Admiral” Stockdale.

2. Your player #: 19

3. Year you joined CSz: 2002

4. High School attended: St Rose High School in Belmar NJ

5. College attended: Rowan College of New Jersey

6. Favorite CSz game: Sing It! or Musical Comedy

7. Favorite memory involving a fan: Ack, gosh, my memory of these things is simply terrible. There was a Day In The Life we did about a year ago where someone told the story of meeting their spouses’ parents for the first time. That was great. And there was one night that I was reffing, and the audience helped me coin my reffing catchphrase “All Night Long….” Good times.

8. Memorable show moment: Eoin O’Shea and I had the most patient, wonderful scene in Four Corners. He was playing hopscotch, I was on a swing, glaring at him for some reason. He was oblivious. We didn’t say anything to each other, just held our point-of-views. We rotated through that scene a few times, each time Eoin would get closer to me, but we still didn’t speak. Finally, the last scene, he was on the swing next to me, just smiling. End of game.

9. Interesting fact (or 2) about yourself: My favorite meal is beef stew and crusty bread. I used to work at the NJ State Aquarium, and while there I would create crime scenes on my manager’s desk with toys and stuffed animals.

10. Voted Most Likely To…Rhyme “Brigitte Bardot” with “discreet escargot” during Elimination Rap.
