Philly Sketchfest Presents: House of Solitude's "A Galaxy Uncherished" with special guests, One Idiot

Philly Sketchfest is honored to host an evening of sketch comedy inspired by the plays of Tennesse Williams from House of Solitude and from the Upright Citizens Brigade TheatreOne Idiot.

House of Solitude presents a one-night only, encore performance of "A Galaxy Uncherished", a sketch comedy show disguised as a Southern drama and set in space. It's everything you love about "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof", "A Streetcar Named Desire", and "Glass Menagerie" mixed with a healthy dose of astronauts and moon talk. There will be secrets, yelling, drama, false gravity, sweating, holograms - no one is sure what this show is and we can't wait for you to figure it out for us.

Written by Caitlin Weigel and Daniel Corkery. Featuring Corin Wells,Samantha RussellPaul TriggianiRobert O'NeillFrank Farrell, and Harry Watermeier.

Directed by Maggy Keegan. Technical Direction by Brian Kelly.

But first, sketch team One Idiot (Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre) proudly presents the first ever production of "What The Horse Saw," the lost masterpiece of Tennessee Williams. The play, only recently discovered amongst the playwright's belongings, is an epic tale of love and loss. Any fans of Mr. Williams, American drama, or pretty horsies will not want to miss this amazing performance!
