Our Theater

Our 100-seat theater is comedy-intimate and ADA accessible. You get great sight-lines, comfy seats, private bathrooms, and a concessions stand with moderately-priced snacks and drinks. Everything you need is conveniently located in our space.

Well, almost everything. We don’t serve alcohol. (Thanks Quakers!) But we are BYOB, that means no markup on liquor. (Thanks Quakers!)

Cast

Dan Reed: Dan Reed is a writer, performer, creative director, and content strategist. He has performed improv around Philadelphia as part of Bad Kitten and in Elmira, an improvised storytelling duo. He produced and performed in After School Special, an improvised after school special. He composes ambient music under the moniker Khinoy the Remedy and is the lead singer of the alt-country group, The Dirty Cowards. He lives in South Philly with his wife, two kids, and two cats.

Kristin Finger: Kristin has been performing and teaching improv professionally for over 15 years here in Philadelphia, Chicago and in New York. She is currently the Artistic Director of CSz Philadelphia where she continues to perform and teach as well. She regularly performs with independent improv groups such as Grey Gardens and Wisdom Teeth, along with other popular improv shows such as Murder Manor, Improvised Golden Girls, The She-Quel, and more. If she’s not directing or performing on stage, she’s spending her time being a freelance Graphic Designer and is the Visual Communications Manager for the Wilma Theater here in Philadelphia.

Jake Lucas (they/them): Jake is the Artistic Director of ComedySportz Philly, and has been improvising and educating for over 9 years. Their specialty in play and social & emotional learning (SEL) helps ensure everyone can put the "imp" in impulse. Jake is the creator and Director of PRIDE & Prejudice: A Queer Parody, Detective Improv: a noir film parody, Game Night: the party-game game show, The Neighborhood, and But WAIT there’s MORE! Jake is the current lead artistic producer for Dual Duel, The Longform Mini Festival, the Improv Double Feature, and so many more amazing shows at CSz Philly. You can see them performing improv comedy right now in ComedySportz, Roll Play, Hallmarkable, Be Kind, Puppets Here & There, Mirror Zone, Best Medicine, or wherever fresh hoagies are sold.

Shaun Kreider: Shaun has been a company member of ComedySportz Philadelphia since 2013 and has appeared in regular Saturday matches as well as specialty shows like The Geek Show, Match Game and The Blue Show. Shaun is an original cast member of Murder Manor, the improvised Dungeons and Dragons based Roll Play, and Figment Theater’s improvised Aaron Sorkin show SorkinCorp.

Nathan Holt: Nate Holt has been a Philly-based performing artist for roughly half his life. A lover of improv, Comedysportz Philly was one of his first gigs in town and retains a special place in his heart. He did a lot of theater in his 20s, then a lot of video in his 30s. Now he enjoys making Dad jokes in work Zoom meetings. As someone who loves both comedic murder mysteries and all his castmates in this show, Murder Manor figures to be quite a treat!

Siobhan O’Hara: Siobhan is the Education Director of ComedySportz Philly and has been a Philly-based comedian performing improv for 10 years in New York and Philadelphia. In addition to performing in ComedySportz, Siobhan worked as a cast member of The She-Quel and Dun-Dun: Improvized Crime Unit. Siobhan has performed at ComedySportz Philadelphia, Philly Improv Theater, Crossroads Comedy Theater, This Week Sucked at The Lab in Ambler, and is a member of the indie improv teams: Daddy Issues and Tchotchke. She is also the co-author of The Comedy Improv Handbook

David Dritsas: David has been performing improv and sketch comedy professionally for over 23 years, working at ComedySportz in both Philadelphia and Chicago. He also worked for The Second City Theatricals department, performing in various shows and aboard cruise ships. Additionally, he has performed at the Annoyance Theater in Chicago in the long-running hit show, Hitch-Cocktails. He's now back in Philly and regularly performs with popular improv shows such as Murder Manor, Roll Play, Puppets Here & There, Trash Puppets, and more. He also has over 15 years of experience teaching improv at all levels, including musical improv
