TV Power Hour S2 Auditions

CSz Philadelphia, home of ComedySportz, Philly’s longest-running improv comedy show, is seeking experienced improvisers for its new show TV Power Hour with two back-to-back sets of your favorite plasma broadcasts. Deadline to submit is August 7th. Auditions are held on Sunday August 9th from 2-7PM.

This Fall, ComedySportz is producing two new Longform Teams with Aug-Sept rehearsals, and shows running from September 2026 to January 2027 on the 3rd and 4th Fridays of each month at 9pm.

All auditions will be held at ComedySportz Philadelphia, 2030 Sansom St, Philadelphia, PA 19103.

GILMORE GIRLS

Throw on another scarf and get cozy with this 30-minute parody of Gilmore Girls. You give us your suggestions and we’ll give you all the Stars Hollow, small-town charm you can handle.

(Dir.) Emily Murphy is an improviser, writer, and artist based in Philly. They have performed sketch and improv comedy since 2019, including shows such as Best Medicine, MirrorZone, Incantation, and indie teams Just Friends, 6 Different People, and Gooses. Emily directed the Double Feature Season 4 show Dear Diary and was a cast member of Season 1 TV Power Hour show Improvised Sopranos. By day Emily is a yoga teacher and trainer so she really doesn’t care about being funny and would much rather everyone know how surprisingly strong she is.

 

IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA

The gang is back and itching for another scheme! We’ll follow our intrepid, underachieving South Philly heroes as they hatch a plan and embark on a quest doomed to totally work out this time for sure. Will the gang run for office or get PTSDee? Let's watch and see!

(Dir.) Tom England is a performer and screenwriter with over ten years of experience in Philadelphia improv. While also being a regular player in ComedySportz, Tom has been seen in Hallmarkable, Off the Record: The Improvised Rock Musical, as well as the creator and director of The Mirror Zone. Tom is a graduate of the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television Professional Program in Screenwriting, but don't worry he won't ask you to read his screenplays (unless you really want to!).
