TV Power Hour S1 Auditions

 

CSz Philadelphia, home of ComedySportz, Philly’s longest-running improv comedy show, is seeking experienced improvisers for its new show TV Power Hour with two back-to-back sets of your favorite plasma broadcasts. Deadline to submit is February 6th.

This Spring, ComedySportz will be producing two new Longform Teams for the TV Power Hour Season 1, with March rehearsals, and shows running from March 2026 to July 2026 the 3rd and 4th Fridays of each month at 9pm. 

  • THE SOPRANOS, What's more gripping than a man going through the trials of mob life in New Jersey? Going through the trials of mob life in New Jersey AND therapy! Sit back and watch what happens when we combine crime, curiosity, and callbacks in this unscripted parody of the beloved American crime drama, "The Sopranos".

    (Dir.) Siobhan O’Hara has been a Philly-based comedian performing improv for over 10 years in New York and Philadelphia, and is the Education Director of ComedySportz Philly. In addition to performing in ComedySportz, Siobhan worked as a cast member of The She-Quel, Dun-Dun, and Hallmarkable. Siobhan has performed at The Philly Improv Theater, Crossroads Comedy Theater, This Week Sucked at The Lab in Ambler, and is a member of the indie improv teams: Tchotchke and Rat King. She is also the co-author of The Comedy Improv Handbook

  • REAL HOUSEWIVES OF PHILADELPHIA, Lights. Cameras. Hoagies. We’ll catch up with a group of affluent women as they struggle to get through a single fancy dinner without pulling off each other’s wigs.

    (Dir.) Maddie Breske is a Philadelphia-based theatre maker and comedienne who gets her kicks performing improv around Philadelphia with the Impulse Control Freaks, Yes and the City, PHIT, and ComedySportz. They also are a writer for Reductress and an Artistic Associate with The Strides Collective. Maddie is passionate about wigs, reality television, and putzing around.
